Citrulline Malate - In addition to benefiting the athlete/bodybuilder by improving aerobic performance, CM serves as a time-released precursor to Nitric Oxide (NO). Citrulline is an amino acid and is accepted as the preferred precursor to L-Arginine for synthesizing nitric oxide. Malic Acid (Malate) is an intermediate in the Krebs Cycle. When chemically bonding Malic acid to Citrulline, one supports the production of ATP via the Krebs Cycle. Together, both reduce lactic acid metabolism and reduce fatigue.

L-Norvaline - Dramatically enhances Nitric Oxide (NO) production by inhibiting arginase. Arginase is an enzyme that limits the amount of (NO) that the body can produce. Beta-Alanine - Among other things the presence of Beta-Alanine synergistically multiply the effects of creatine. Both compounds exert their effects through very different mechanisms; however, both are alike in that over time each accumulates in muscle. That sounds kind of complicated so all you need to remember is that the lack of Carnosine in muscle plays a critical role in the muscular failure process. It (Carnosine) acts as a buffering agent that "buffers" muscle tissue from acidity, thereby delaying muscular failure - among other things Beta-Alanine was added to the NO-Beta® formula to convert and make more Carnosine so during training the build up of lactic acid and fatigue are regulated.
In higher doses, Beta-Alanine may cause a tingling sensation on the skin which can be used as a gauge for one's toleration level.
